Welcome You!

Welcome to the Morris Inn Steak House

The Morris Inn was established in 1961 in Morrison, Iowa.  We continue today with many of the same home-made recipes that started the restaurant over 48 years ago.  Start your meal with a variety of appetizers.  Most patrons choose our famous home-made onion rings.  Our large portions outrank others in the industry and the taste is unmatched.  One of the things that makes our menu different is we make many of the items on the menu from scratch.  For example, we make our own Ranch, Bleu Cheese, French and thousand Island dressings which we also sell in pints and quarts.  We serve home-made rolls with your meal.  We feature hand cut steaks which include Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Top Sirloin, or three sizes of T-Bones (including the Porterhouse).  If you like we can cut you meat for home use.  We grind our own hamburger from the filet and sirloin, and have an extensive build-a-burger menu, you have to try the fried egg--Aussie style burger.  We also have a full service menu including our famous fried chicken, a variety of grilled or fried seafood and a full sandwich menu.  Finally, we make our own hand-breaded or grilled tenderloins.

We are a casual dining place that welcomes everyone.  You will get to enjoy the wildlife that lives on our walls, including deer, a beaver, fish and even a buffalo head (don't worry they don't bite).  We invite you and your family to try our establishment for something a little different, a little like home and we won't empty your pocketbook.

In order to help keep our prices low, we do not accept credit or debit cards, but we do accept cash or checks.

We also offer a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including over 20 beers and malted beverages and a full range of wine and spirits.
